MICRONEEDLING
The Difference You’re Looking For
The Skin Blessed Microneedling treatment utilizes 9 precisely spaced micro needles in a small cartridge to create invisible, micro perforations into the epidermis and the top layer of the dermis. Using the skin’s ability to heal itself, puncturing the dermis with microscopic needles triggers the production of new collagen.
Using an electric handheld device, 9 very-fine needles that create thousands of micro-channels within the skin stimulate what's called a "wound healing response." This creates the stimulation of collagen, alleviating the appearance of acne scarring, fine lines/wrinkles, enlarged pores and even stretch marks!
I apply a topical numbing agent to the skin about 30-40 minutes prior to the microneedling treatment to ensure a painless treatment. After a couple hours when the numbing has subsided your skin can have a light tingling, or "prickly" sensation, and may be temporarily red for about 24-48 hours post treatment. It is normal for one’s skin to have a sensation similar to a mild sunburn.
